Happy New Year!!

I hope everyone is having a great start to 2020! I know it’s cliche but I have some resolutions for the year and I really am hopeful that 2020 is going to be the year that my vision gets realized. (See what I did there? They don’t get much better, folks) To move forward though I’m going to look back to the past.

25 years ago some friends and I set out to make a comic book of our own. All original characters, all written, drawn, and lettered by a bunch of dudes from Bristol Community College. We called ourselves Industrial Fantasy Studios (I.F. for short) due to the history of the mills of Fall River and we put out W.A.N.T. #1 (We Are New Talent). It was amazing! Both the book and the experience!

Thinking about that experience has really helped to put things into focus for 2020. Now, last year I had actually redrawn this cover, I wanted something fun to draw and was thinking about the time making this book so I had a go at it.

It’s crazy what 25 years of experience and technology can do for a piece, right?

So back to moving forward. Knowing now clearly what I want out of 2020, and recalling the experience of what those guys from BCC were able to achieve, this year, more than ever before is going to have some high output of artwork. Follow along on my Instagram for updates. This month I’m putting up 31 days of X-Men sketches and I’ll also be participating in the yearlong “Inktober52” (1st one is also up on Instagram).

Lots more planned too, so keep an eye out for it, and have the best 2020 you can!
